Project Overview

This project is a hybrid consisting of drawing, analog animation and text and deals with female* hunger and its manifold facets.
I engage explicitly with the hunger of female socialzed people because in a societal context it is subject to very particular and far-reaching connotations and is associated with awareness of the body and body images. Restrictions are entailed on the female body which limit the scope of activity and suppress needs. I noticed that (re)arranging and continuous reworking of the text and images became essential for developing the project. While getting deeper into the topic and revisiting existing material I decided to give it more time and work with various mediums.
